Andrew "Andy" Daly[1] (born April 15, 1971)[2] is a comedian, actor, writer, producer and a voice actor for Regular Show.[2]

Early lifeEdit

He was born in Westchester County, New York and raised in New Jersey.[3][4] He graduated college at Ithaca College, earning a bachelor's degree in Drama.[2] Following college he did comedy work on stage in New York, and was one of the original students of the Upright Citizens Brigade, which honed his improvisation skills.[5][6] He is also a founding member of the improvisation group The Swarm.[2]

CareerEdit

He began acting on television becoming a cast member on MadTV, and also acted on Reno 911.[5] Some of his impressions on MadTV included Carrot Top, Bill Maher, Dick Cheney and Pat Sajak.[2] He has also appeared in film, being in Yogi Bear and Transformers 3.[6] He has also made a comedy album, entitled Nine Sweaters.[5] He currently plays Forrest MacNeil on Review, where he also serves as an executive producer, airing on Comedy Central.[7][3] Daly had first watched the Australian version in the summer of 2009 and was cleared to do an American version two years later, before waiting three more years before making it on air.[8]

Personal lifeEdit

Daly's favorite role he has played is Forrest MacNeil.[8] His favorite films are Dr. Strangelove and Midnight Run.[8] His worst fear is dying poor and alone.[8] He resides in Los Angeles, California[9] with his wife, Carri Lyn Levinson,[2] two daughters and a dog named Pierre.[3]
