|Season 2, Episode 3|
|Premiere date:||January 10, 2011|
|Directed by:||Mike Roth|
"Appreciation Day" is the third episode of season two (and fifteenth episode overall) of Regular Show.
Mordecai and Rigby decide to write fraudulent statements in Benson's book of park records, but trouble ensues when the listed events happen for real.
It's Appreciation Day at The Park and everybody (except Mordecai and Rigby) get appreciation plaques. Angry that they didn't get plaques, Mordecai and Rigby decide to try and do hard work, but more often than not, they mess up in front of Benson. Late at night in Benson's office, they sneak inside, find The Book Of Park Records and change their terrible records into very unrealistic, outstanding records. Before Rigby can write the ending of a fake story, Benson comes in the office and they are forced to hide under the desk.
The next morning, the things that Mordecai and Rigby wrote start becoming real; later, an unexpected blizzard occurs and Skips breaks his right leg. Mordecai and Rigby help him into the cart just as a block of snow turns into Snowballs the Ice Monster, explaining Rigby's unfinished ending.
The monster starts breathing fire on the trees and Mordecai realizes something: if everything in the book has come true, then all they have to do is erase it. The monster then finds the book and rips all of the pages out. Rigby catches the pages and brings them to Mordecai whom managed to write the ending; but, it won't work without the cover. Mordecai gets the cover and when the pages are put back together Mordecai writes that the monster will "go away and everything will go back to normal." Mordecai and Rigby are knocked unconscious. When they both wake up and find everything back to normal, Benson takes the book away and tells them to clean up the mess or they're fired. Rigby said that they did everything he told them to do and there was no mess to clean, so Benson drives away. Rigby ends the episode confused and ends up saying, "What? Still no appreciation plaques?"
