"That's My Television"
"Caveman" is the seventeenth episode in Season 4 (and the ninety-sixth episode overall) of Regular Show. It first aired on February 25, 2013.
After Mordecai and Rigby accidentally defrost a caveman, they try to civilize him so he can stay at the park.
The episode starts with Mordecai and Rigby entering a cave for an overnight camp out, activities being making s'mores, rocking out to the radio, playing video games, and talking about their futures. All the while, with a giant block of ice slowly melting into the night.
The guys finally turn in for the night, not knowing the block of ice had completely melted, revealing a Caveman. He wakes up Mordecai and Rigby, and after a while, the duo think the Caveman is really cool.
When Benson notices him, he orders Mordecai and Rigby to throw the Caveman out. But after some persuasion, Benson allows them one week to teach the Caveman to be civilized.
With the help of Muscle Man, Hi-Five Ghost, Pops, and Skips, the duo are able to teach the Caveman, now named Gregg, how to be civilized. Just when the duo are about to find Benson and show himGregg's progress, Gregg wants to defrost his long-lost love, Diane, who was hidden along with other members of Gregg's tribe in an enclosed cave.
When Mordecai, Rigby, and Greg bring Diane back to the house, she and Gregg try to "catch up" with each other, but soon find themselves in an argument and Diane leaves to defrost the rest of her tribe, leaving Gregg confused about who and what he is.
When the resurrected Cavemen and Diane wreak havoc on the Park, Mordecai, Rigby, and Gregg devise a plan to lure the Cavemen into the meat locker under the house. After leading the Cavemen into the meat locker, Gregg decides to stay with Dianne, feeling that it is best to stay with his love instead of being in the civilized world. Before he's almost completely frozen, Greg holds Diane in his arms and gives Mordecai and Rigby the thumbs-up.
Heartbroken, with the loss of their new friend, the tearfully duo run into Benson, who had seen what had happened and was amazed at how noble Gregg was. With tears in his eyes, he tells the duo to clean up the mess caused by the cavemen or they'll be fired, (in a calm way). Rigby questions if they should still find a third friend, but Mordecai says two's good enough.
