The Coffee Bean is a giant coffee bean that wears a white headband and underwear. He can only say the word "coffee" and has the ability to squirt hot coffee from his nipples. He has an Asian business man as a translator.
They are seen in the background at Slammers when Mordecai and Rigby find out that they can't afford the tickets for Fist Pump. They follow them to the park where they have the two sign a contract, giving them free coffee to help give them energy to raise money for the tickets. There are many ways he gave the coffee to them, but the most memorable one is when coffee comes out of his nipples. When they finally get the tickets, the coffee bean becomes mad because they didn't buy tickets for him and his assistant. They both give Mordecai and Rigby chamomile tea, which makes them fall asleep very quickly. Soon afterwards, they steal the tickets. After doing so, they take the golf cart to the concert, but are chased by Mordecai and Rigby, who are on the lawn mower. They then proceed to attack Mordecai and Rigby with a chainsaw. When they get to Slammers, Mordecai and Rigby manage to get the tickets back from them and are finally able to see Fist Pump. However, since they had not slept for a few days because of all the coffee they consumed, they end up falling asleep.
He later reappers in "Dodge this" in a cameo role, where his dodgeball team is knocked out by the Thunder Girls. CJ gets him out by hitting him in the stomach, and this causes coffee to squirt out of his nipples.
Trivia
- A picture of the Coffee Bean squirting coffee out of his nipples can briefly be examined with other pictures from past episodes during "Brain Eraser".
- Since the translator is Japanese, we can assume that The Coffee Bean is Japanese. Also, he has a head band that resembles a samurai's.
- He is the first character with a translator. The second is Cool Cubed, who had the Cool Cubed Translator.
- He is one of the villains who do not appear in "Exit 9B"
