Wall Buddy is the main antagonist in the Season Five episode Wall Buddy.

Appearance[]

Wall Buddy is a voice-activated machine that consists of a seemingly endless amount of walls that can stretch and shift in all directions and even create windows and doors, originally to separate and/or rearrange rooms. Its CPU is a black box with a number field and a red, round camera lens on it. Underneath the lens is the machine's reset button.

When Mordecai and Rigby gave it too many commands at the same time, Wall Buddy started to overload and eventually malfunction, which caused it to create a giant maze of walls through the entire house and park. The duo managed to stop Wall Buddy by hitting the reset button on its CPU.

Trivia[]

  • Wall Buddy's CPU looks almost identical to HAL 9000, the computer from Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.
  • The way Wall Buddy creates the wall maze with high speed in the end of the episode resembles the way the light cycles from the movie Tron create walls behind them while driving.
