Gunther, stylized as Günther, is a character featured and debuted in "House Rules". Gunther appears when Mordecai and Rigby try to rest on the bench, and he shows up out of nowhere, showing the two an inscription on the seat that says his name, implying that he claims ownership of the bench. He proceeds to pull out a bat and start chasing Mordecai and Rigby down the street, and after they hide, he leaves. He is seen to be talented at swinging his bat, shown in the scene where he couldn't find Mordecai and Rigby. His bat also has his name engraved in it. He may not be good at running, since he was not fast enough to catch Mordecai and Rigby. Since he sheathed his bat away behind him, he might have a sheath or some sort of attachment on his back, even though nothing was shown on his back when he ran after Mordecai and Rigby, or he might have just sheathed it in the back of his pants.
He appears to be very buff, has a black mohawk and a connecting mustache to go with it. He also has a tattoo of a snake on his right arm, two swords on his left arm, including a scar on his forearm, and his name, "Gunther," on his chest, which is most likely a tattoo. He has a gold colored earring on each ear, and has hair on his shoulders. His bat, chest, and bench all have the word "Günther" on it. He has long legs, with brown cowboy-style boots, blue pants/jeans, and a skull on his brown belt.
- The name Günther is of German origin, and it means "battle warrior." The "ü" in the name with the two dots above it is also a German sign.
