Mordecai and Rigby: Ringtoneers is a short that appears as a commercial on TV or in between PG or G movies, such as Hop, Rio, or African Cats. It also makes an appearance on the Regular Show: Slack Pack DVD as a special feature.
Plot
Edit
Mordecai and Rigby try to write a hit song. When their co-workers doubt it, the duo try to prove themselves by showing their song to a record company (Really Cool Records to be exact). When that fails, Mordecai and Rigby propose a variant of their song as an idea for a ringtone (though they keep it to themselves).
This is a theatrical short and can be found in some showings of Rio, African Cats or other PG or G movies. It has been featured on the AMC First Look Play block before African Cats showings in AMC Theatres (though it is now also on TV). The short also airs as filler material on Cartoon Network between programs as an advertisement for Regular Show. It can also be seen on the Cartoon Network website, where a ringtone from the short can be downloaded. It was also shown with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
