Quintin "Quips" Q. Quippenger is a minor character introduced in the episode "Quips". He is a Yeti, like his cousin Skips.

Biography []

Quintin Q. Quippenger [1], better known as Quips, is Skips' cousin. After losing his job as a stand-up comedian at a comedy club, he decides to spend the weekend at Skips' to regain his confidence and try out new material. Unfortunately, Quips is not funny and most of his "jokes" only annoy those unfortunate enough to hear them. Nevertheless, he believes himself his jokes are funny. He also has a hard time taking anything seriously; he nearly kills himself (and Skips) after angering Reginald, one of the Guardians of Eternal Youth, during a game of Drawsome at Skips' house. After consistently heckling the giant baby, Reginald places Quips in a shrinking box with Skips. After a while, Skips told him he wasn't funny and he realized the truth about why he got fired. Thanks to Skips, Quips manages to find a new job as the replacement clown at Special Entertainment.  Being a clown to children was shown to work out, as the kids enjoyed his jokes.

Quips later attends the Thanksgiving dinner and a show that he has a little brother because both of them attended.

He later becomes engaged to Monica Ellingson, who apparently also finds his jokes funny.

He and Monica are both present at Muscle Man's wedding in Dumped at the Altar.

Personality[]

A polar opposite to Skips, Quips is very optimistic, caring and kind person. He is also a jokester, though he has very bad jokes that annoy people, which includes the Park employees, a taxi driver, Reginald and Gary. At the end of episode, he realized that his jokes are not funny, except, they are very annoying, he felt remorse and apologized to everyone he annoyed with his jokes, but Skips found him a job as a party entertainer and Quips was happy by his new job.

Antagonistic side[]

Despite his upbeat personality, Quips also has the most doubting side. When he continuously made bad jokes, he showed no remorse and doesn’t see them getting annoyed with their jokes. When Quips annoyed Reginald to no end with his jokes, he could not stop and this nearly cost him and Skips’ lives, until Skips finally snapped at Quips, saying his jokes are the reason. After his cousin’s outburst, Quips felt remorse and his antagonistic side died out.

Appearance[]

Quips is similar in appearance to Skips, though he isn't as muscular as his cousin, Quips is well-built. He wears a yellow shirt and light brown pants. He has a long hairstyle with the top straight up. In the Bachelor Party! Zingo!!, he also wears a red shirt, with a yellow collar, saying "Skips is my best man!".
