What is vandalism?

Vandalism comes in various forms such as:

1. Spam-(spamming messages, which has more information here.)
2. Inappropriate images-(naked photos)
3. Vandalism of an article-(deleting all or making up information on an article)
4. Vandalism of a user's page-(posting fake information about a person)

Note:All of these actions can cause an indefinite ban.

But it was just a joke

Vandalism still isn't tolerated, even if it's meant to be a "joke." You should not think of doing anything on the list.

What is my punishment?

As said before, it can range from three days to indefinite. Continued vandalism will eventually lead to an indefinite block.
