Synopsis

Thomas is initiated as a groundskeeper, but Muscle Man refuses to stop pranking him, a situation that agitates Mordecai and Rigby.

Plot

New intern Thomas drives to work in his car, where the rest of the park staff greet him warmly. He arrives at the park and everyone greets him. Throughout the week he falls victim to various well-meaning pranks, which he takes in good humor. At the end of the week, Benson tells Thomas he made through his initiation and formally welcomes him as a park employee. However, Muscle Man gives Thomas the nickname 'Starter Pack' and continues to prank him even after everyone else has finished. Thomas continues to take the joke well.

Mordecai and Rigby are upset that Muscle Man continues to pick on Thomas. They go to Skips, but he tells the duo to let Thomas fight his own battle. They tell Thomas to stand up for himself and prank Muscle Man back. Thomas is reluctant to prank his superior and in any case has no hard feelings against Muscle Man, so he rejects their suggestion. The duo to go Benson, who is at first unwilling to step in, but decides to show Mordecai, Rigby and Muscle Man an instructional video on pranking in the workplace.

The video is unconvincing, and Muscle Man still continues to prank Thomas. Having had enough, Mordecai and Rigby decide to take matters into their own hands by pranking Muscle Man back. At the snack bar, they rig up a trap, typing a rope with trash cans on the end of it to the lid of the dumpster, so that when Muscle Man closes it, the trash tumbles onto his head. The prank worked, but when they told him that Thomas did it, Muscle Man erupted into uncontrollable fury at being fooled by his underling.

As Mucle Man begins a violent rampage, Mordecai and Rigby have to hurry to find Thomas first and warn him. Muscle Man chases the trio through the parking lot; hiding behind a parked vehicle, Mordecai tells Thomas to make a break for it while they deal with Muscle Man. Thomas only just manages to start his car before Muscle Man catches up with him, and he drives away at speed.

Muscle Man is undeterred, and with amazing strength rips a shed from the ground, ready to launch it at Thomas' car. Mordecai and Rigby try in vain to stop Muscle Man by telling him that they were responsible for the prank, but it is too late as the shed flies through the air and hits Thomas' car, flattening it. Mordecai and Rigby are stunned and anguished - Thomas is surely dead and it's all their fault. But Muscle Man has the last laugh, calling out Thomas - who was hiding in a bush - and revealing that 'Starter Pack' was responsible for this expert prank on Mordecai and Rigby.

Mordecai and Rigby are irate because Thomas has wrecked his car just to prank them. Muscle Man waves his shirt in the air and leaves; Mordecai and Rigby walk away, too. As Thomas is left alone, his cellphone rings. He tells his Mom that he is fine, but asks to borrow her car for the next day.
