We open up with Mordecai and Rigby playing video games.

Rigby: Hey dude! It’s Mother’s Day!

Mordecai: What! You know what that means?

Rigby: Yep, sucks for you.

Mordecai: Huh! Why does she always have to come on Mother’s Day?

Rigby: Well at least you have a mom; all I have is Don.

Mordecai: Awkward, as Muscle Man would say.

Mordecai’s Mom comes into the house.

Cecilia: Morde-Pie! Hello Rigby!

She frowns.

Cecilia: Where are we going for brunch?

Mordecai: The Coffee Shop.

She frowns.

Mordecai, Cecilia and Rigby are sitting in the usual table in The Coffee Shop.

Mordecai: What do you want mom?

Cecilia: A salad and green tee.

Rigby: Green Tee? Coffee to strong for you grandma? Ha-ha!

Mordecai: Shut Up!

Margaret comes by and asks for their orders.

Mordecai: The usual for me and Rigby.

Margaret: What will it be for your girlfriend?

Mordecai: Oh no, we aren’t…

Cecilia takes Mordecai to the other side of the room and whispers to him.

Cecilia: I know you like this girl! Make her jealous!

Mordecai: What? I’m not going out with my mom!

Cecilia: Come on, you know what they say, “Mama Knows Best”.

Mordecai: Fine, just this once, for Mother’s Day.
